Chris Solo Headshot

Originally from the Los Angeles area, Chris has been surrounded by music and production influences since childhood, and developed a love for both mediums early in life.  He attended Pasadena City College before transferring to Northern Arizona University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a minor in Media Production.

Chris has worked professionally in the A/V industry since 1996.  His diverse background includes live event production, broadcast audio and video production, audiovisual system design / installation, and recording studio engineering.  He currently holds the CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) credential from AVIXA, the trade association for the professional audiovisual industry worldwide.

Chris spent two years touring internationally as the front-of-house engineer and ministry team leader for a traveling Christian music ministry group.  He subsequently assumed direction of the group’s parent organization and served in that role for the following 14 years.  During that time, he designed, oversaw and participated in the training and mobilization of over 900 young musicians comprising 80 different bands.

Chris’s combined technical, musical and leadership experiences have equipped him to serve as a consultant, coach, trainer and clinician for organizations, musical groups, technical teams and conferences around the United States and internationally.  Currently, Chris designs and installs professional A/V systems, serves as a contract FOH engineer for multiple clients, teaches keyboards and coaches bands for School of Rock, and performs regularly with several groups.
